Lehigh County small businesses are encouraged to apply for the Lehigh County Legacy Small Business Beautification & Improvement Grant, a funding opportunity designed to help businesses invest in improvements that strengthen commercial corridors and enhance the customer experience.
Made possible through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in partnership with the Office of Senator Nick Miller and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the program offers grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 for eligible improvement projects. Funding may be used for:
Interior and exterior renovations
Façade improvements, paint, flooring, lighting, and signage
Energy efficiency upgrades
Improvements that enhance customer experience and business functionality
Placemaking projects that increase foot traffic and reflect the unique character of the community
The program is open to eligible small businesses located in Lehigh County, regardless of Chamber membership. Priority will be given to long-standing businesses that have made lasting contributions to the community. The first round of applications is open through Friday, August 28, 2026.
