⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT ⚠️
Beginning around 10:00 a.m., the eastbound lane of East Susquehanna Street (heading toward Fountain Hill) will be closed between Fretz Avenue and Center Place while crews address a water main break in the area.
➡️ Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Lehigh Avenue.
⬅️ Westbound traffic (heading toward Allentown) will remain open, but motorists should use caution when traveling through the area.
Please expect delays and allow extra travel time. We appreciate your patience while repairs are completed.

Residents are advised that milling and paving work will begin on the following streets, weather permitting:
📅 Milling: Week of June 22, 2026
📅 Paving: To follow after milling operations are completed
Affected streets include:
• Weil Street
• Savercool Avenue
• Acker Street
• Summit Street
• Kline Avenue
• Virginia Avenue
• Wistar Street
🚗 Please expect traffic delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
🏠 Access will be maintained for homeowners, as well as trash and recycling collection services throughout the project.

Please be advised that JD Eckman will be performing bridge and ramp milling and overlay work during the weeks of June 21 and June 28.
🕗 Work Hours: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Sunday through Friday nights
To minimize traffic impacts, only one ramp will be closed at a time, and all closures will occur overnight.
The following ramps will be affected (approximately 2 nights each):
• I-78 Westbound ➡️ Emmaus Avenue Exit Ramp
• Lehigh Street North ➡️ I-78 Westbound
• Lehigh Street South ➡️ I-78 Eastbound
📍 Detours will be posted during each closure.
🇺🇸 No work will take place during the Independence Day holiday period, from 5:00 AM on July 2 through 8:00 PM on July 7.
Please allow extra travel time if you use these ramps during the overnight hours. Thank you for your patience as these improvements are completed.

Beginning Monday, June 15, Keystone Road will be closed during business hours for milling between Briarwood Lane and Country Club Road as part of a roadway improvement project.
The road will be closed again during business hours on Monday, June 22, for paving operations.
🏠 Property owners will continue to have access to their homes.
