Please be advised that there is currently a watermain break in the 1200 block of S. Halstead Street, between E. Barner Street and E. Susquehanna Street.
Residents in the area may experience low water pressure, temporary water service interruptions, or discolored water while repairs are being completed. Please use caution when traveling through the area, as crews will be on site working to resolve the issue.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as repairs are underway.
Residents are reminded that permits are required for:
🗑️ Dumpsters placed on private property or in the street
⛺ Temporary tents placed on your property
Please plan ahead — permit applications require up to 1 week for processing before approval can be issued.
Submitting your application early helps avoid delays with your project, event, or cleanup. Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep our community safe and organized! 👍
The Salisbury Township Police Department will be conducting a sound check at the Police Training Facility on Honeysuckle Road on Friday, May 22 at 9:00 a.m.
🎯 Please be advised that you may hear gunshots while the sound check is taking place.
This is a routine test and there is no cause for alarm. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to keep our community safe.

Thank you to everyone who is voluntarily participating and helping support pollinators and a healthier environment for plants and wildlife throughout our community. 🐝🦋
As a reminder, the purpose of the Resolution was to encourage environmental benefits during the month of May. Residents are encouraged to use discretion when managing their properties. If grass or vegetation becomes a safety or health concern, or if it may become too difficult to mow effectively in June, residents should cut it back as needed.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and support in making this initiative a success! 🌎💚

📬 Affected property owners will also be receiving a hand-delivered notice this evening.
LCA will keep the advisory in place until water quality testing confirms the water is safe. They will issue another notice when the advisory is lifted.
📞 If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lehigh County Authority directly at 610-437-7515.
We strongly encourage all residents to review the map and share this information with neighbors who may not have seen the notice. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

🚧💧 Notice to Residents 💧🚧
Lehigh County Water Authority is currently performing waterline work in a portion of the east side of the Township. Residents on S. Bradford Street, Belmont Avenue, Wallace Street, Cypress Avenue, Woodside Court, and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure and/or discolored water while the work is being completed.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as this work is underway, and we are hopeful that conditions will return to normal soon.
During National Police Week, we proudly recognize and thank the dedicated officers of the Salisbury Township Police Department for their commitment to keeping our community safe each and every day. 🚔
From protecting our neighborhoods to participating in community events, educational programs, and outreach efforts, our officers go above and beyond to serve with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. Their community policing efforts help strengthen the connections that make Salisbury Township a safer and more united community.
We are incredibly grateful for the sacrifices made by our law enforcement officers and their families, and we thank our officers for all they do for our residents, businesses, and visitors. 💙
Residents can show their support during National Police Week by simply saying “thank you” to an officer and flying flags at half-staff on May 15 in observance of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
Please join us in showing appreciation for our Salisbury Township Police Department and law enforcement officers everywhere! 🚓
